Help Henrietta with our Agricultural Enhancement and Farmland Protection Plan!
The Town needs your help! We are in the middle of our Agricultural and Farmland Protection Plan, and we need your input. With the help of our consultant, Behan Planning and Design, advice from the Advisory Committee, and input from the public, the Town is making great progress on the plan. One of the goals of the project is to develop strategies for enhancing agriculture and protecting farmland. The plan will also identify tools and techniques to accomplish these goals. And one of the ways you can help us is by completing the Community Worksheet survey.
Please access the “Town of Henrietta – Community Worksheet” at http://www.henrietta.org/index.php/ag-farmland-protection-plan and follow the instructions or you can access the survey directly at https://survey.zohopublic.com/zs/IXB0Fw
This community survey should take approximately ten to fifteen minutes of your time to complete, and will help Henrietta progress closer to completing our Agricultural Enhancement and Farmland Protection Plan! Please complete the survey by November 11, 2017 to ensure that your responses are included. You can also fill out a hard copy of the “Town of Henrietta – Community Worksheet” at the Henrietta Town Hall, Henrietta Public Library, or at the Henrietta Senior Center. Another option would be to fill out the Community Worksheet survey located within the newsletter. You can either leave the completed forms at the Town Hall, Library or Senior Center. Another option would be to email the survey to my attention at “email@example.com”.
The Town of Henrietta wishes to develop an Agricultural and Farmland Protection Plan and program that recognizes the importance of agricultural lands in the community, establishes strategies, create goals, and allow the Town to manage and administer the program to its residents.
Next meeting to be held at the Town Hall Main Meeting Room on Thursday, October 12th, tentative start time of 6:30pm.
