Open Positions on Board of Assessment Review

The Town of Henrietta is now accepting resumes for positions on the Board of Assessment Review. The members hear complaints regarding tentative assessments, review evidence submitted by residents, and make decisions independent from the Assessor; position is paid per session worked. Appointments are to fill one term position and some temporary position(s).

Requirements are as follows:

a) Must be a Town of Henrietta resident.

b) Mandatory attendance for Grievance Hearings taking place 9am-9pm on the 4th Tuesday of May (May 27, 2025).  Must have flexible availability (including daytime and evening hours) for the remaining Grievance Hearings lasting approximately one month.

c) Must be able to participate in mandatory training(s).
